The APV1181 is a compact 24GHz millimeter wave radar module designed for detecting moving targets to trigger associated devices. Its narrow strip size is highly suitable for applications in various 86 box panel screens and narrow bezel screens. The panel can be installed without opening holes for concealed installation, capable of detecting the target's speed and approach/departure direction (Note: This feature is for the dual operational amplifier hardware version; with IQ two mid-frequency paths, Doppler can recognize the approach and departure directions), and it can estimate the range of motion through the motion energy value.
The module can penetrate non-metallic shells without the need for drilling holes. Common materials include plastics, glass, wood, ceramics, etc. For human presence detection applications, it is recommended to use wall-mounted plastic 86 box panels and various intelligent screen switch shells.
